Our last few weeks here.

FUN TIMES WITH MY GREAT FRIEND KARA

SEA WORLD

Doesn't my friend look so cute. We had a busy schedule while Kara and her family were here.She is 6 months pregnant and she never complained. (She is s much strong women than me).

MY NEW BABY - A CANNONDALE SLICE

And my old baby, which is now for sale. I am also super excited because I picked up a sponsorship and Michellie Jones asked me to be on her MichellieJones.com team. I did a race 2 weekend ago, where she of course won. It was probably one of the hardest course/race I've done this season. I ended up taking third in my division, but the best part was I got to talk to Michellie. That is where I found out about her team.

OUR OWN OLYMPICS

Last Friday night our friends had a going away party for us. We had a great party. The adults competed for a hundred dollars in trail run course that was 1.15 miles long. The kids did a 500 meter race. Their prize was a medal for whoever finished. The kids were so excited to get medals. It was a super fun evening. It is amazing to think of what good friends we have found out here in such a short time.

Brynn LOVES the water. She is actually getting really good at boogieboarding. She was catching some good size waves. Her and Aubrey also started swim lesson last week. Brynn is in the highest level class. She is in there with 4th and 5th graders. She does so good. Aubrey all the other had is just trying to master not crying in the pool. It is four days a week for two weeks. Hopefully, this week will go better for cute Aubs.

We had so much fun hanging out at the beach on Friday. It was very relaxing, and I think everyone had a fun time. Except for Brett, who had to work.


SEAPORT VILLAGE CAROUSEL

We picked Kara, Dave, and their little girl Ann up at the airport on Thursday night. From there we went to Seaport Village and had dinner and hung out. The whole week was so fun with them. I am so happy they made the effort to come out here. It is nice having Kara around. She is such a good friend. She loves me faults and all.

FAMILY NIGHT BIKE RIDE TO MCDONALD'S

We have been talking about going on a family bike ride to Mcdonald's since we moved in. We decided we had better do it before we leave. We have been trying to get so much in before we leave, and try to get together with all of our friends. We have done alot of BBQ in the park.

It was so fun going to the zoo in the evening. It has such a different feel to it, and it was not crowded.

BIBLE VACATION SUMMER CAMP AND THE CIRCUS

We did bible summer camp with some of our friends out here. My friend belongs to the church and she was one of the teachers. I helped in their little nursery for a couple of days. The girls LOVED it. They had different theme days, like crazy hat, hair, and sunglasses days. On Friday the last day they had a huge carnival. It was probably one of the highlights of Brynn summer. She got to do craft, sing songs, play with her good friend Ryn, and just plain have fun. We also went to the Ringling Brothers circus on Thursday night. It was quite the circus. I think the kids loved it, and hopefully the kids got enough circus to last at least five years or so. :)

CARNIVAL AT MIRMAR MARINE BASE

The had a military family appreciation day at one of the marine bases out here. The kids got balloons, go for go cart rides, pet pigs, and jump on jumpers. It was fun, but so HOT.

We have been trying to do as much as possible before we leave. We have a week left until we move out of our house. Then we will become homeless for a month of so. We will just hotel hop until we find a house in Florida. ( No, seriously we will be at the Navy Lodge most of the time, but during our road trip we will just drive, until we are tried of driving and just get a hotel).

Anyways, I will try and give everyone an update. If you don't see a blog for a while it is because we are still homeless. I'll get you all filled in when we get a place.

CHAMPIONSHIP OFFROAD RACING AT CHULA VISTA

The girls favorite part of the races was the monster snow cones that they got.

Cute little Brayden loved the trucks, but the load sound of the trucks made him start to get really scared. By the end of the races he had his head burried in my chest.

They had little kid age 8 -15 racing. There was one girl racing and she had a cute pink car.

PADRES GAME

We rode the trolly to the game, which was super fun for the kids. We then rode the trolly hope, which was much more eventful. We ended up getting on the wrong trolly taking us the complete opposite direction. There was us and the Sambars on the trolley, and it took us over an hour to figure out that we were on the wrong trolley. We ended up getting to our cars around 10:45, and we left the ball park at 8:45. It was a little crazy, but made for a fun memory.

We went with alot of our friends from around here. We ended up sitting on the grass, which the kids loved. I literally didn't see one play of the game, but it was still fun.

Our friends the Williams from Arizona came down again. They are actually looking to move down here. Anyways we met up at Carlsbad at the outlet and went to Ruby's. The kids loved it because they got balloons, and we loved it getting caught up with our friends.

I had to post this picture of Brynn because she is just getting so big and fun. She is a good helper(most of the time), and a good friend to me and her siblings.

Brayden and Aubrey are also at a fun stage. I love to just sit back and watch at how they explore there world. I feel super blessed to have the children I have. Brayden can still charm me with is cute wit, and Aubrey is such a sensitive cute "girly" girl.

This is from the races. It was the best wreck of all the races and Brett just happen to record it. Brett said to turn up the sound so you can "feel the horsepower"!!

A Weekend of Firsts (and a second).

Camp Pendleton International TriathlonBrett and I did our FIRST triathlon together. I have been wanting Brett to do a triathlon with me for a long time. So, for my 32nd birthday, the best present he gave me was to do a race with me.

I was a little nervous for Brett to do his first race because he had limited time to train, but he did AWESOME. He finished in just less than three hours ( His wave started 10 minutes after the original start time).

During the race Brett and I both had our finger get cut from the bike portion of the race. Brett's was a little worse than mine. My hand got caught in the derailleur due to my chain coming off twice, and Brett's finger got caught in the spokes while he was fixing his speedometer timing chip. Brett said he had blood everywhere. (Good thing he is a doctor, and he knew he would be okay).

Brett and I both had a great race. He said he will even do one again. :) We did a mock triathlon the night before in La Jolla. We had a great swim in La Jolla Cove and then we biked along the ocean. We changed our gear and headed off for a quick run. About a minute into the run we realized that we had grabbed the wrong set of keys, and that we had in turn been locked out of our car. It was quite an ordeal to get a locksmith to La Jolla on a Friday night. Anyways, at least we had good scenery. (Thanks to my friend Melissa who ended up having the kids a couple hours longer). :)

I ended up have the best Olympic distance race of my career so far ( all 4 of my Olympic distance races). I took 8th overall and 2nd in my age group. I have been having a hard time accepting my second place because I was only 2 seconds behind the girl who took 1st. The bummer thing is I didn't know she was so close to me. She had short hair, so I guess I thought she was a guy. Most of the time when I am racing I just look to pass the girls, so once I see I just go hard and try and pass her. The bottom line is I just need to race hard the whole time, so next time seconds won't matter. :) But all and all it was an awesome race and an awesome course. I told Brett it is a great way to see each other when we are racing because there is alot of times you loop around. If anyone reading this is thinking of doing a triathlon I HIGHLY suggest you do one. It is such a great feeling of accomplishment, and a great way to stay fit.

Later in the day we went swimming with our friends Ryan (the one who did the race) and Vicky Manning and Chris and Audra Sambar ( the one who had the watched the children while we raced. I am indebted to her now. Thank you Audra. We had to drop the kids off and 5:45 and we didn't get home until after 1:00). We had so much fun. We even did the same thing again tonight. We had family night at the pool with the same families. All of our kids love being around each other, so it is so nice and quite pleasant.

This is Brynn fabulous preschool teacher, Ms. Ruby. She was the best, and really made each child feel important and loved. We feel so blessed that Brynn had her. She really help introduce Brynn to going to school in a positive way.We had our FIRST child's graduation on Friday. Brynn is officially done with preschool. She made a shirt that said "tiny tots" for part of there graduation gift and she keeps telling me she is no longer a tiny tot. She is a "big"kid now. ( Funny girl). I thought I put a picture of Ms. Dannabelle on here, but I didn't ( if anyone knows how to add a picture in the middle of the post please let me know). Anyways, both of them were great. Also Brynn friend/ student aid teacher, Ms. Joslyn was there. She was so nice because Brynn forgot her shoes, so I had to run home. Ms. Joslyn helped her to stop crying.

They had a cute little program with songs and dances, and then after they were giving their diplomas. After they received their diplomas they had to say their name and what they wanted to be when they grow up. Brynn said she wanted to be a babysitter. (Yea, that will come in handy in a few years).

Afterward they had a little "cookie"reception. The kids thought that was the best. Aubrey always loves to go to Brynn things at school because she loves the treats, and then they always have a dance at the end. Aubrey really LOVES to dance to all the great music.
